What you will do

• Contribute to Trino, PrestoDB, and related open source projects as a core contributor.
• Design and optimize distributed query engines for high-performance data processing.
• Architect SQL federation solutions for cross-platform data querying.
• Develop connector architecture for diverse and complex data sources.
• Drive advanced query optimization and performance tuning initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams across projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in distributed query engines and SQL federation systems.
• Deep understanding of connector architecture and data source integration.
• Advanced query optimization and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and data processing.
• Core contributions to Apache open source projects such as Trino, PrestoDB, Spark, Hive, or similar; advanced English proficiency.
