• Contribute as a core contributor to Trino/PrestoDB and related open source projects.
• Design and optimize distributed query engines for high-performance data processing.
• Architect SQL federation solutions for seamless cross-platform querying.
• Lead connector architecture development for complex data sources.
• Drive advanced query optimization initiatives to maximize system performance.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in distributed query engines and SQL federation systems.
• Deep understanding of connector architecture and data source integration.
• Proficiency in advanced query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and data processing.
• Core contributions to Apache open source projects (Trino, PrestoDB, Spark, Hive, or similar).
• Advanced English proficiency.
