Senior Data Engineer (AWS Redshift/dbt)

What you will do

• Lead the migration of legacy SQL Server workloads to AWS Redshift.
• Develop and maintain production-grade dbt models using existing Redshift pipelines.
• Analyze and deconstruct legacy T-SQL stored procedures and convert them into modular, optimized Redshift SQL models.
• Architect the dbt project structure and define development and production best practices.
• Optimize batch data transformation workflows and provide technical guidance to the internal engineering team.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in dbt Core, including production execution, model structuring, and best-practice development.
• Deep knowledge of AWS Redshift and columnar database optimization.
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to understand legacy T-SQL logic and rewrite it in Redshift SQL.
• Experience with data modeling and guiding engineering teams through implementation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
