Project Manager (Grid Automation)

Project Manager (Grid Automation): Managing and executing customer projects in high and medium voltage substation automation with an accent on commercial, contractual management, and stakeholder coordination. Location: Stone, Staffordshire, United Kingdom, onsite 3 days a week, with travel within UK and Europe required

What you will do

• Implement projects within Substation Automation from sales handover to warranty completion
• Coordinate international project teams and manage resource allocation
• Serve as key contact ensuring proactive communication and customer satisfaction
• Manage customer contracts and commercial, contractual aspects including negotiations
• Plan and forecast project activities using SAP, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Projects

Requirements

• Based in UK Mainland with willingness to work onsite in Stone 3 days a week
• Experience in power transmission projects and electrical/control systems engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years experience with HNC/HND or Degree
• Chartered Engineer or Professional certified Project Manager
• Willingness to travel within UK (~10%) and Europe as required
• Clean UK driving licence and excellent communication skills
