What you will do

• Design, build, and measure complex ELT jobs to process disparate data sources into clean, high-quality data assets.
• Develop and enforce data modeling policies, procedures, and standards.
• Document system flows and technical information related to data and database design.
• Implement data quality standards and tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with Investment Management departments and data teams to understand data patterns and business needs.
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Boston, Springfield, or New York, USA
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 8+ years experience in data analytics, data modeling, and database design.
• 5+ years experience with ELT methodologies and SQL development.
• 3+ years coding experience in Python, Java, or Scala; 2+ years with Spark framework.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to influence teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC.
• Experience with Vertica, Snowflake, and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Domain knowledge of Investment Management operations and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with investment data platforms such as GoldenSource and Blackrock Aladdin.
