What you will do
- Manage, evaluate, and modernize enterprise data platforms using cloud-based technologies.
- Design and maintain data integration and ETL/ELT pipelines supporting data warehouses and analytical data models.
- Help establish standards for data governance, integration, quality management, and data lifecycle management.
- Monitor and optimize data platforms, engineering processes, database performance, and system reliability.
- Partner with IT teams, business units, and senior management to deliver data-driven initiatives and improve stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in senior data engineering or database architecture roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services, including Snowflake.
- Advanced SQL development and data modeling skills, plus experience with relational database management systems.
- Experience building data integration and ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating APIs, and handling JSON and XML.
- Working knowledge of Python, Git, Agile development, and database performance monitoring and tuning.
Nice to have
- Industry-recognized database or cloud platform certifications.
- Experience with law firm application databases such as Aderant Expert, Foundation, or iManage.
- Experience with finance, ERP, financial reporting, or third-party database monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with AI and large language model technologies.
