Senior Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin)

Location: Hungary; hybrid work with 50% office and 50% home office in Budapest

What you will do

• Develop backend software for a cloud-based IoT platform.
• Design, implement, and test software for current products and new developments.
• Build and maintain REST and GraphQL web services.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with code quality and technical guidelines.
• Collaborate with software product managers to implement and release features for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience developing Spring Boot server applications with Java and/or Kotlin.
• Experience with cloud-based, containerized microservice architectures, including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Working knowledge of software development and testing standards, including unit testing and TDD.
• Knowledge of Agile software development processes and a focus on software quality and maintainability.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang and/or Scala.
