AI Platform Engineers

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid work with onsite collaboration required on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Thursday strongly encouraged.

Salary: HUF 1.8M–HUF 2.1M per month

What you will do

• Design and implement APIs and domain services that abstract LLM complexity for product feature teams.
• Build scalable AWS infrastructure for prompt management, context handling, auditing, and response processing.
• Develop scalable, secure, and performant REST or GraphQL APIs and platform services.
• Create developer tooling and documentation that simplify service integration.
• Establish AI and LLM usage best practices around auditability, cost, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with feature teams, participate in code reviews, and maintain clean, documented code.

Requirements

• Software engineering experience with API design and distributed systems.
• Strong backend development experience with REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of API security, performance monitoring, rate limiting, and related best practices.
• Understanding of LLM integration and usage patterns.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Ability to work onsite in Budapest on Tuesday and Wednesday; Thursday onsite collaboration is strongly encouraged.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node or willingness to learn it.
• Experience with TypeScript or willingness to learn it.
• Background in developer tooling and API documentation.
