Pega Senior System Architect

Location: Remote, based in Vienna, Austria

hirify.global is hiring for a cross-departmental, large-scale public-sector IT project.

What you will do

• Plan, design, implement, and operate complex IT infrastructures and system landscapes.
• Take technical responsibility for system architectures, integrations, migrations, and rollouts.
• Ensure system performance, stability, high availability, security, and compliance.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues as part of 3rd-level support.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, and operations teams while creating technical documentation and operational guidelines.
• Provide technical coaching to project and operations teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a PEGA Lead or Senior System Engineer.
• Proven experience leading technical implementation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of server, storage, network, and virtualization technologies, including Linux, Windows, and VMware.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, OpenShift, and hybrid architectures.
• Skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, automation, and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Fluent German is required; good English skills are desirable.
