What you will do

• Plan, design, and implement complex IT infrastructures.
• Take overall technical responsibility for system architectures and integration projects.
• Ensure system performance, stability, high availability, and security.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues (3rd-level support).
• Collaborate closely with architecture, development, and operations teams.
• Manage system migrations, rollouts, and integrations.

Requirements

• Must have fluent German language skills; good English skills desirable.
• Must be based in Austria or able to work remotely from Austria.
• 5+ years of experience as a Pega Lead or Senior System Engineer.
• Proven experience in leading technical implementation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of server, storage, network, and virtualization technologies (Linux, Windows, VMware).
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OpenShift) and hybrid architectures.

Nice to have

• Skills in automation, scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python), and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet).
• Experience in performance analysis, monitoring, and tuning of complex systems.
