Back-end Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain core components of payment and regulatory compliance products.
• Write clean, tested, production-ready code in the JVM ecosystem.
• Design, implement, and release features with product managers, analysts, and engineers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions involving microservices, event-driven systems, and scalability.
• Improve system performance, resilience, and security.
• Use AI tools as part of development work.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with JVM languages such as Java or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with Spring or Spring Boot, Maven, relational databases, SQL, and Git.
• Knowledge of clean code, testing, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Docker, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
• Curiosity and a proactive mindset focused on understanding product impact.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, or Google Cloud.
