What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.
- Develop and integrate REST and SOAP services with Kafka-based messaging solutions.
- Optimize SQL queries and improve performance on Oracle Database.
- Contribute to core banking transformation, legacy modernization, and technical debt reduction.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, provide technical leadership, and conduct code reviews.
- Ensure high availability, resilience, and regulatory compliance across distributed systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise Java development experience with Java 11/17+.
- Deep expertise in the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with JPA/Hibernate, Maven or Gradle, Kafka or similar messaging systems, and Oracle Database performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of core banking architecture, integration patterns, high-availability design, and production-critical financial environments.
- Fluent English and strong analytical and stakeholder-communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE, Temenos T24, Finacle, Mambu, or Thought Machine.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, automated testing, ISO 20022, or SWIFT standards.
- Background in core banking migration or transformation programs.
