Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Kaunas, Lithuania; hybrid work with at least 3 office days per week

Salary: €2,700–€3,990 gross per month, plus yearly bonuses of approximately 10% of annual salary and Booking Holdings RSUs worth $20,000 gross.

hirify.global is a travel search engine within Booking Holdings, connecting travelers with flights, hotels, rental cars, vacation packages, and corporate travel solutions.

What you will do

• Implement new backend search and booking features under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Improve existing features with a focus on speed and user experience.
• Create and maintain integrations with third-party travel APIs.
• Support technology connecting more than 200 travel partners, 500,000 hotels, and 550 airlines.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional Java experience.
• Familiarity with the Spring framework and SQL databases.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Education in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from the Kaunas office at least 3 days per week.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with the team.

• Exposure to Elasticsearch or similar search technologies.
