Senior Software Engineer (AI Platform)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with attendance at the office three days per week. Working abroad is available for up to 30 days.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for campaign optimization products.
• Build and deploy AI-based solutions across media, creative, and advertising workflows.
• Support data scientists in bringing machine learning models into production.
• Contribute to planning, retrospectives, team improvement, and software development practices.
• Mentor colleagues on testing, monitoring, clean code, and other engineering best practices.
• Work with product, engineering, infrastructure, and customer stakeholders to translate business needs into viable technical solutions.

Requirements

• Strong Python skills and 5+ years of experience developing and deploying production-quality software.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.
• Experience developing and maintaining services under SLA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work three days per week from the Berlin office.
• Analytical, adaptable, resilient, and customer-focused approach to solving technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of MLOps concepts and tools such as MLflow or Kubeflow.
• M.Sc. in a relevant field.
