Software Engineer - AI Solutions (m/f/d)

Develops and produces solutions in Test & Measurement, Technology Systems, and Networks & Cybersecurity for industrial, regulatory, and government customers worldwide.

What you will do

• Implement Python APIs, SDKs, and integration components that enable product software to use AI capabilities.
• Transform ML, LLM, and agent-based prototypes into production-ready software meeting performance, latency, and resource requirements.
• Optimize inference and middleware for real-time use on edge and embedded systems.
• Write maintainable code with unit and integration tests and create technical documentation.
• Analyze and resolve integration issues between models, middleware, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with MLOps, data, and product teams on deployment, monitoring, and release automation.

Requirements

• Several years of professional Python development experience and strong software engineering practices, including testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and Git.
• Hands-on experience integrating ML or LLM components into production applications.
• Experience or familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, hybrid cloud or on-premises integration, authentication, RBAC, and data stores.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, independent, and solution-oriented approach.
• Very good German and English skills, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with inference on edge devices or runtimes such as ONNX or TensorFlow Lite.
