Release Engineer (CI/CD)

What you will do

• Manage and optimize release pipelines, versioning strategies, and deployment workflows.
• Automate build, release, and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver stable releases.
• Monitor and troubleshoot release-related issues while minimizing downtime.
• Maintain release documentation, rollback plans, and deployment strategies.
• Implement feature-flagging strategies and drive continuous improvements in software delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in release engineering, DevOps, or build and release management.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or ArgoCD.
• Strong knowledge of Git, GitFlow, and trunk-based development.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Bash, Python, or PowerShell, plus build systems such as Xcode, Gradle, or Webpack.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills in an agile environment.
