Head of Engineering (Logistics)

Location: Paris 9th, France; hybrid workplace

Salary: Base €110,000–€150,000 gross annually; options with a gross value of €100,000–€200,000

What you will do

• Directly manage engineers and establish team management structures that enable successful delivery.
• Own engineering-wide execution against priorities while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Lead code reviews, architecture reviews, and engineering plan reviews with staff and senior engineers.
• Partner with the co-CEO and Product team to improve engineering processes, collaboration, and ownership.
• Drive the engineering roadmap, improve AI-enabled developer experience, and remove tooling and workflow bottlenecks.
• Source, interview, hire, and develop Engineering Managers and Engineers.

Requirements

• Experience leading a growing engineering team through multiple process and organizational changes.
• Technical depth in full-stack development and distributed systems.
• Strong people-management skills and the ability to influence direct and indirect reports and peers.
• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Professional English and conversational French required.
• Ability to work with executive management, board members, and staff-level engineers.
