Full Stack Software Engineering Team Lead (React/AWS)

Location: Spain; remote workplace

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day technical direction for a full-stack engineering team and support delivery against agreed priorities.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and support production software.
• Guide architecture decisions across front-end, back-end, cloud, and infrastructure components.
• Break down complex initiatives, estimate technical work and dependencies, and translate product requirements into practical solutions.
• Mentor engineers, facilitate technical discussions, review code, and reinforce standards for quality, security, scalability, observability, and testing.
• Improve engineering practices, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and ownership across the application lifecycle.

Requirements

• Significant professional software engineering experience, including technical leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong back-end development experience and production experience with Go is highly desirable.
• Strong JavaScript and React experience, with a track record of delivering production-grade full-stack applications.
• Knowledge of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, testing, troubleshooting, and modern development practices.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, especially services such as S3, SQS, ECS, EC2, and Lambda.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English is required. A computer science degree or equivalent professional experience is also required.

Nice to have

• TypeScript, Redux, HTML, CSS, Freemarker, or Thymeleaf.
• MongoDB, DocumentDB, RavenDB, CloudFormation, Terraform, NPM, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Serverless technologies, microservices architectures, Bash, Java, Groovy, or Python.
• Agile delivery experience and previous experience as a Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Lead Engineer.
