What you will do

• Define and drive technical vision and AI strategy in partnership with CTO and leadership
• Design, build, and iterate on cutting-edge AI agents, models, and enterprise ML infrastructure
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and set AI development standards across teams
• Architect scalable, reliable AI systems including RAG pipelines and multi-modal applications
• Mentor senior and staff engineers and influence technical decisions organization-wide
• Represent the company externally through technical talks and industry engagement

Requirements

• Must have 8+ years software engineering experience and 5+ years building AI-powered applications
• Proven leadership in technical strategy, mentoring, and shipping production AI systems
• Expertise in Python, LLM frameworks, prompt engineering, and distributed AI systems
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and DevOps practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to work onsite in Mountain View, CA

Nice to have

• Deep specialization in NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, or LLM infrastructure
• Experience with ML inference optimization, distributed training frameworks, and Kubernetes
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or published technical writing
• Experience in enterprise software and B2B customer environments
