What you will do
- Manage end-to-end data and infrastructure operations, including SQL diagnostics, CI/CD pipelines, virtual machine deployments, and cloud-based deployments.
- Handle incidents and service requests through ServiceNow while maintaining SLA compliance, ownership, and proactive resolution.
- Build and improve monitoring and observability with Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, IT Infrastructure, security, and compliance teams to resolve production issues and improve operational standards.
- Perform root cause analysis, participate in blameless post-incident reviews, and develop preventive action plans.
- Support data pipelines, ETL processes, analytics platforms, capacity planning, scaling, and performance optimization in a 24/5 rotational model.
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of experience in DataOps, DevOps, infrastructure operations, site reliability engineering, or analytics platform support.
- Strong SQL, AWS, Python, and CI/CD pipeline skills.
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git-based version control, and AWS services.
- Hands-on experience with Python or Shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with incident management, SLA/SLI/SLO practices, escalation handling, operational metrics, and production support.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Rio, Brazil and participate in a 24/5 rotational support model.

- Experience with Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
