Financial Analyst (FP&A)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, reporting, variance analysis, and cost control.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including actual-versus-target budget analysis.
• Collaborate with business units and cross-functional leaders to forecast income and expenses, support business decisions, and improve financial policies and procedures.
• Respond to investor queries, research business expansion opportunities, present findings to senior management, and support ad hoc financial projects.
• Build and manage dashboards as a single source of truth for regional KPIs and actionable leadership insights.
• Develop automated workflows and scripts for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, reconciliations, and other financial and operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related analytical discipline.
• Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with hands-on experience in SQL and Python for financial automation and analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
• Passion for ethical finance and alignment with the mission of building a riba-free financial ecosystem.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Google Apps Script for automating processes in the Google Workspace ecosystem.
• Experience using low-code/no-code automation platforms such as n8n or Zapier to connect systems and build workflows.
• Practical experience leveraging AI or LLMs for complex reasoning, data analysis, or decision-making tools.
• Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools such as Metabase, MixPanel, Segment, or Google Analytics.
