Controlling Operations Financial Analyst Personnel Cost M&S

Location: Hybrid role based in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do

• Manage monthly financial closing for personnel costs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, internal-control compliance, and SOX adherence.
• Develop personnel-cost forecasts, compare actuals with budgets, identify risks and opportunities, and advise stakeholders.
• Prepare variance analyses and management commentary covering actual results, budgets, and forecasts.
• Track organizational changes and headcount movements, reconcile systems, and maintain data integrity.
• Prepare personnel-cost reporting for Manufacturing & Supply, GBUs, and Corporate Functions.
• Support global controlling transformation, process simplification, tool improvements, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Solid experience in financial controlling, personnel-cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel, with experience using financial systems and reconciliation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and process-improvement skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent discipline.
• Fluent English is required.
