What you will do

• Support firmware and software research and development projects.
• Develop specifications and architectures for firmware and software.
• Research algorithms and implementation approaches.
• Design, validate, and integrate firmware components for target platforms.
• Develop and maintain software code and integrate into functional systems.
• Troubleshoot firmware and software issues and develop test procedures.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person with active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 3+ years programming experience in C, C++, or C#.
• Experience with software architecture and development methodologies.
• Onsite work in Albuquerque, NM.
• Employer will not sponsor visa; relocation offered based on eligibility.

Nice to have

• 5+ years experience with FPGA embedded systems and hardware/software integration.
• Experience with VHDL, Java, MATLAB, sensor acquisition, and electro-optical systems.
• Prior project lead experience.
