What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-performance team focused on embedded software and firmware for radar systems.
• Own the maturation of engineering processes to balance execution with formal certification requirements.
• Develop and execute technical roadmaps while managing team priorities and removing blockers.
• Collaborate across teams to support rapid integration and flight testing of radar technology.
• Empower team members to build robust, certifiable, and safety-critical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in embedded software (C/C++) or electronics hardware (VHDL/Verilog).
• 3+ years of technical leadership or people management experience.
• Experience working on complex systems at the intersection of hardware and software.
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to U.S. export control laws.
• Must be willing to travel 10% of the time.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with radar algorithms, signal processing, and system testing.
• Full hardware product development lifecycle experience from prototype to service.
• Experience with DO-178C certification programs.
• Experience with safety-critical FPGA verification (DO-254 level A/B).
