What you will do

• Lead and supervise cabling project teams, providing training and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute installation, termination, and testing of network cables including fiber optics, copper, and coaxial.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop cabling plans and ensure project compliance and productivity.
• Troubleshoot complex cabling issues using specialized tools and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and manage inventory of cabling materials and equipment.
• Serve as the main on-site contact for customers, providing updates and addressing concerns.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to work onsite in San Jose, California, United States
• 6+ years of experience in network cabling with hands-on expertise in fiber optics, copper, and coaxial systems.
• Proven leadership experience managing cabling teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of cabling standards (ANSI/TIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801) and safety protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex cabling problems effectively.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 35lbs, climbing ladders, and traveling up to 75% of the time.
