What you will do

• Design, architect, and develop cluster/network management and Ethernet switch software.
• Collaborate with technical leaders and product managers to meet business and technical requirements.
• Mentor and coach team members on best practices and architectural decisions.
• Support customer engagements and resolve technical issues within SLA.
• Prepare design and architecture documentation and detailed test plans.
• Write and automate test scripts to ensure software quality and performance.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in San Jose, CA, United States (onsite)
• Bachelor’s degree in electronics or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 12 years of hands-on networking software development experience.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching products and protocols.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript; experience with SONiC switch software preferred.
