Sap Basis Administrator

TL;DR

Sap Basis Administrator (System Engineering): Managing and securing high-availability SAP system landscapes including HANA, operating systems, storage, backup, and virtualization. Focus on setup, configuration, migration, cloud and on-prem SAP systems, and providing first- and second-level support for SAP basis issues.

What you will do

• Ensure high availability of SAP systems on HANA including OS, storage, backup, and virtualization solutions
• Setup, configure, migrate, update, and administer SAP systems (on-prem and cloud) including ABAP and Java systems
• Provide first- and second-level support for SAP basis issues
• Support cloud-based SAP applications with monitoring, reporting, and interface management
• Participate in implementing security guidelines and SAP recommendations

Requirements

• More than 2 years of professional experience in SAP operation or relevant degree in information technology
• Good experience with SAP NetWeaver, AS ABAP & JAVA, OS (UX, Windows), and HANA database
• Experience in SAP cloud operation, storage systems, and virtualization (VMware)
• Knowledge of ITIL framework for IT service management
• Strong communication, analytical skills, and customer/team orientation
• Very good English; German language skills are appreciated
