What you will do

• Manage two backend teams (API Platform & Datalake) with 2-4 engineers each, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
• Drive delivery of key features ensuring quality and timely releases aligned with technical and operational standards.
• Collaborate with product management, client teams, DevSecOps, and SRE to build scalable, high-performance services.
• Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within teams.
• Lead technical decision-making to ensure scalable, maintainable, and reliable solutions.
• Define and track KPIs to measure team impact and inform product decisions.

Requirements

• Must have 4+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years in engineering management in a global role
• Experience managing hiring and agile software engineering processes
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, GoLang, Node.js, data warehousing/SQL, AWS infrastructure, observability tools, Git/GitHub
• Experience developing APIs, databases, and backend services for consumer products
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Remote work eligibility in US, EMEA, Canada, or LATAM regions
