Senior Data Scientist

Location: London, hybrid; office attendance required at least 60% of the time over a 12-week period. A 28-day work-from-abroad policy is available.

What you will do

• Develop a deep understanding of product experiences and opportunities for growth.
• Contribute to product roadmaps, goals, and strategic direction.
• Lead cross-functional reviews to measure progress against goals.
• Identify and articulate new product opportunities.
• Support experiments, product launches, and growth through data-driven decision-making.
• Define metrics that enable learning across experimentation and release cycles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience using data science and analytics to drive business decisions.
• Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
• Experience evaluating product engagement and measuring success through methods such as A/B testing and front-end data analysis.
• Ability to work with complex or ambiguous datasets and produce actionable insights.
• Experience using AI to accelerate analytical coding responsibly and automate day-to-day processes.
• Strong data visualization, presentation, and communication skills; experience with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and AWS Athena.

Nice to have

• Expertise in predictive modelling, including parametric and non-parametric techniques.
• Experience with wider machine learning methods such as clustering, random forests, and neural networks.
