Senior Forward Deployed Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Dublin, Ireland or London, England. Hybrid work with office attendance expected at least three days per week, plus travel and on-site work with customers.

What you will do

• Drive Fin adoption by helping strategic customers automate and scale their support operations.
• Embed with customers to understand support workflows, data, and business challenges, then identify and implement AI opportunities.
• Guide customers in measurement and AI adoption best practices to deliver measurable value.
• Partner with Sales, Success, Product, and Engineering to deliver deployments and feed customer insights into product development.
• Prototype, test, and scale AI-powered, data-driven solutions and reusable tools.

Requirements

• Proven ability to apply data science to real-world business problems and measurable outcomes.
• Strong collaboration, adaptability, ownership, and technical and non-technical communication skills.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, systems thinking, analytical and statistical methods, and strategic problem framing.
• Excellent SQL and production-aware Python skills.
• Experience with AI/ML evaluation, LLM-driven applications, or conversational AI.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site with customers.

Nice to have

• Experience in technical consulting, customer-facing analytics, or SaaS product data science.
• Experience applying AI to scale data science workflows.
