Data Scientist Intern (Algorithmic Trading)

Location: London, United Kingdom, or New York, United States

What you will do

• Normalize and validate vendor data for research, automated trading, and risk management.
• Extract features from quantitative and textual data.
• Apply rigorous quality checks and investigate data methodologies.
• Complete independent data investigation projects in Python using libraries such as pandas and polars.
• Learn research and trading infrastructure through technical projects and mentorship.

Requirements

• Full-time student pursuing a STEM degree.
• Python programming experience at the level of “Python for Data Analysis”.
• Curiosity about working with data and finding insights.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Independent data projects or Kaggle competition experience.
