Senior ServiceNow Enterprise Tools Support Specialist (ServiceNow)

Location: Washington, D.C., United States; hybrid schedule. US citizenship is required to acquire a Top Secret clearance.

Salary: $130,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Provide daily operational support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow and enterprise IT tools including SolarWinds, Splunk, SCCM, and AppDynamics.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and custom application modules.
• Configure and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and third-party integrations.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop automation and monitoring solutions, perform performance tuning and testing, and maintain tool security and reliability.
• Document technical solutions, configurations, and standard operating procedures while supporting federal cybersecurity compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration and development experience.
• Proficiency with at least one enterprise monitoring or endpoint management tool, such as Splunk, SCCM, Tanium, or AppDynamics.
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with JavaScript, PowerShell, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs.
• US citizenship is required to acquire a Top Secret clearance.

Nice to have

• Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Developer certification.
• Experience supporting DHS or other federal agency IT environments.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and FISMA compliance standards.
• Familiarity with Agile development and DevSecOps environments.
