Full Stack Engineer (React/Python)

hirify.global builds an autonomic logistics operating system that coordinates decisioning, execution, and capacity for retailers, grocers, pharmacies, fleets, carriers, and delivery providers.

What you will do

• Design and ship end-to-end features for the hirify.global portal using React, TypeScript, Python, and backend services.
• Translate complex logistics workflows into clear interfaces and systems in collaboration with product, design, operations, and data.
• Contribute to system design and architectural decisions with a focus on reliability, security, scalability, and delivery speed.
• Build responsive, high-performance interfaces with robust loading, latency, error, and edge-case handling.
• Debug production issues across frontend and backend, and improve automated testing and observability.
• Support engineering standards through code reviews, mentorship, and shared technical ownership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications in production.
• Strong React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component architecture, and Python skills.
• Experience with GraphQL, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, NoSQL stores, and microservices or service-oriented architectures.
• Solid system design, coding, testing, cloud platform, and modern deployment experience.
• Strong product sense and communication skills, with the ability to drive ambiguous problems to clear outcomes.
• Strong preference for the Bay Area; the product team works hybrid-first from the San Francisco office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Flask, SQLAlchemy, or WebSockets.
• Background in integration-heavy or real-time systems.
• Prior startup experience or experience mentoring engineers.
