What you will do

• Integrate multi-DOF robotic hands with humanoid control systems and validate motion, sensing, and control.
• Develop and own calibration strategies and production-scale test plans for hand subsystems.
• Incorporate sensor and feedback systems into real-time control and develop diagnostic algorithms.
• Debug mechanical, electrical, and software integration issues and tune controllers for performance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and AI teams across disciplines.
• Design validation test plans and develop automation and tooling for testing and diagnostics.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with robotic or electromechanical systems focusing on actuation, manipulation, or integration.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for embedded development and diagnostics.
• Experience integrating sensors and tuning control of motion systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanics, kinematics, controls, dynamics, and sensor technologies.
• Familiarity with Linux-based development environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Controls Engineering, Robotics, or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotic hands actuation systems or multi-DOF systems.
• Knowledge of communication protocols like Ethernet, Ethercat, Serial, SPI, and I2C.
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink.
• Expertise in CAD for collaboration with design teams.
