What you will do

• Build, grow, and coach a high performing software development team.
• Lead software development lifecycle processes including planning, stand-ups, estimation, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Partner with Product Management to align team mission and deliver customer and technical value.
• Drive technical initiatives to improve system performance, reduce technical debt, and enhance quality and security.
• Lead solution design, code reviews, and continuous improvement of code and engineering systems.
• Support wider development group initiatives and promote technical best practices.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to commute to London office 2x a week (hybrid work format).
• Experience leading and coaching software development teams in a product development context.
• Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Enterprise Databases, AWS, React or Node.js, Git, Web Services, CRM, and Utilities industry knowledge.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a growth mindset.
