Engineering Manager, Network Infrastructure (Cloud)

Engineering Manager (Cloud Networking): Leading a team of software engineers to build, operate, and improve hirify.global’s core networking capabilities with an accent on designing, building, and operating production network infrastructure. Focus on defining a vision and roadmap for cloud network infrastructure, solving complex concurrency challenges, and ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Location: This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an hirify.global office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. You must live in a state where hirify.global, Inc. has a registered entity.

Salary: $204,000–$255,000 USD

• Lead and grow a diverse team of talented software engineers.
• Define and execute the vision and roadmap for hirify.global’s cloud network infrastructure and related components.

• Nurture relationships with open source communities and external service partners.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• 6+ years of relevant software development experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Experience with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their networking service offerings.
• Experience running large-scale networking systems and software (e.g., proxies, CDN, DNS, gateways).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with teams across the engineering organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience leading teams on-call for production infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience with Istio service mesh, Kubernetes, and cloud native technologies.
