What you will do

• Collaborate with Product teams to enhance revenue, retention, and engagement through A/B testing and insights analysis.
• Analyze player behavior to translate motivations and preferences into actionable gameplay improvements.
• Design and maintain ETL pipelines and game telemetry to ensure a reliable source of truth for BI.
• Develop and manage high-visibility dashboards used by game leadership and designers for strategic decisions.
• Optimize game economy and feature health through continuous tuning and analysis.
• Lead the design and improvement of fraud and bad actor detection models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a quantitative field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data science or analytics, ideally within gaming or product teams.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience in data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to explain complex data in simple terms.
• Must be located in or be able to work from Austin, TX or Toronto, Canada.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD).
• Experience using LLMs to automate analytics workflows and increase efficiency.
• Familiarity with Tableau and version control systems like Git.
