What you will do

• Own architecture decisions, coding systems, servers, and security while delegating to engineers and coding ~50% of the time initially.
• Prototype and iterate AI agents for voice, photo, and maps data in production.
• Hire, mentor, and coach backend, mobile, and AI/ML engineers to build an industry-leading team.
• Develop POCs that scale to production-level experiences adding customer value.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and US customer success teams.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of production coding experience with startup experience.
• Previous engineering people management experience.
• Strong communication skills bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with AI/ML, Python, and Postgres; mobile and AWS skills are a plus.
• Ability to build rapid prototypes and ship production-ready code.
• Customer-focused problem solving to deliver meaningful business value.
