What you will do
- Own and articulate the long-term frontend technical vision and architectural strategy aligned with company goals.
- Define frontend architectural patterns, component libraries, and design systems for consistent and safe development.
- Drive innovation in user experience technology focusing on performance, accessibility, and developer velocity.
- Lead large, complex cross-team programs to simplify frontend systems and accelerate feature delivery.
- Make high-stakes technical decisions and architectural trade-offs ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Mentor senior engineers and grow frontend technical leadership across the organization.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in UK, Ireland, Netherlands, or Portugal or able to work remotely from these locations.
- Deep expertise in large-scale frontend systems with strong foundations in performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Mastery of React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript ecosystems.
- Experience leading company-wide frontend technical strategy and delivering impactful cross-team initiatives.
- Strong communication skills to align engineers and executives on technical direction.
- Passion for frontend best practices including performance optimization, security, accessibility, and testing.
