What you will do

• Develop role-based dashboards and executive reporting interfaces for the Command Center.
• Implement data visualization components using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Translate government feedback into iterative UI/UX improvements on a sprint cadence.
• Build responsive, accessible interfaces compliant with Section 508 and WCAG standards.
• Collaborate with back-end developers on API integration and data binding.
• Maintain component documentation, style guides, and user interaction patterns.

Requirements

• Must be currently located in Huntsville, AL or the Washington, DC Metro area.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in front-end development, dashboard design, or data visualization.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Plotly, Recharts, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards (508/WCAG), and UX best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with government or defense dashboard applications.
• Familiarity with design systems and component library development.
• Experience with mapping/geospatial visualization (Mapbox, Leaflet).
