TL;DR

MuleSoft Architect (AI): Designing and owning end-to-end API-led integration platforms with an accent on AI-driven delivery and architectural governance. Location: Must be US-based and authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship). Preference for Eastern or Central timezones. Raleigh–Durham area is a plus for hybrid opportunities.

What you will do

• Design target-state, API-led platforms including system, process, and experience layers.
• Build and direct agentic AI systems to generate and accelerate delivery workflows.
• Lead client discovery, shape solution architecture, and review/sign off on SOWs.
• Own technical direction, scope management, and long-term client relationships.
• Establish CI/CD strategies, secure-by-default integration standards, and repeatable documentation.
• Continuously evolve internal AI agents and delivery processes to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

• Must be US-based and authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship).
• Expert-level MuleSoft architecture experience (Mule 4, Anypoint, DataWeave, CloudHub 2.0).
• Proven experience building with AI tools (Claude, Cursor, LLMs) in a professional capacity.
• Strong client-facing consulting background, including discovery and SOW contribution.
• Deep understanding of DevOps fundamentals, branch strategy, and secure integration patterns.
• MuleSoft Platform or Integration Architect certification or equivalent demonstrated depth.

Nice to have

• Experience leading presales from discovery through signed SOW.
• Documented evidence of AI-acceleration gains in delivery.
• Cloud and networking expertise in AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of event-driven patterns like Anypoint MQ or Kafka.
• Proximity to the Raleigh/Triangle area.
