Focus on translating complex business needs into actionable insights and technical requirements to protect customers and the company.

Location: Primarily collaborate in person across Calgary, Winnipeg, and Toronto offices.

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on fraud initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
• Perform in-depth data analysis using SQL to identify trends and insights.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows and system diagrams.
• Support the development, testing, and implementation of new fraud strategies, models, and rules.
• Monitor and report on key risk metrics through dashboards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally focused on fraud prevention within the financial services or fintech sector.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis is a must (Python knowledge is a plus).
• Proven experience working with BI and data visualization tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong understanding of credit risk concepts and methodologies is a significant asset.

• Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
