What you will do
- Design, test, and implement innovative collections strategies, using credit risk models and data-driven insights to balance revenue and risk.
- Monitor and report on the performance of collections strategies for lending products, benchmarking against targets and providing insight-driven summaries.
- Implement and maintain risk management practices throughout the testing process, identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with new strategies.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses using advanced data analytics and machine learning to analyze risk profiles and identify trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Finance to embed foundational credit risk controls in new features and products.
- Develop a foundational understanding of credit losses typologies, company products, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the financial services or fintech industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis is a must.
- Proven experience working with BI and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A foundational understanding of various delinquency reasons and a commitment to staying updated on industry best practices and improving your analytical skills.
