Location: Remote (All North America)

Salary: $195,000 - $220,000 USD annual (or $160,000 - $190,000 CAD annual)

What you will do

• Oversee the design, implementation, and deployment of AI-powered features, including model training and prompt-based frameworks.
• Grow, mentor, and manage a talented team of ML engineers and data scientists.
• Ensure timely and rigorous delivery of AI initiatives, refining requirements and planning roadmaps with Product and Engineering leads.
• Encourage experimentation, rapid prototyping, and continuous improvement for AI solutions.
• Partner with DevOps, Platform, and Engineering teams to build scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud-native AI services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience building production-grade AI/ML solutions, with 2+ years in a formal team leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated success delivering both trained and prompt-based systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in model evaluation, including manual review protocols and automated test suites.
• Hands-on experience operationalizing ML systems using MLOps practices.
• Hands-on expertise in Python and common AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, OpenAI, LangChain, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience in EdTech or education-related domains.
• Experience designing, training, and deploying multi-modal models.
