Senior Credit Strategy Analyst (Fintech): Optimizing credit strategy and decisioning for lending products with an accent on deploying risk scorecards and implementing changes to credit policy. Focus on using advanced statistical techniques to predict customer behavior and enhance credit strategy with novel datasets.

Location: This hybrid role requires you to come to our London office 2-3 days a week. You'll also have the option of working from abroad for up to 120 days a year. Subject to having the right to work in the country of choice

What you will do

• Optimising credit strategy and decisioning for lending products.
• Using advanced statistical techniques to predict customer behavior or forecast future demand.
• Shaping and enhancing credit policy.
• Working with open banking data to find new ways of enhancing credit strategy.
• Analysing the performance of our portfolio and recommending strategy changes.
• Collaborating with the fraud team to stay updated on latest trends and exploring potential enhancements to our fraud strategy.

Requirements

• You have strong experience doing credit risk analysis in a consumer lending environment.
• You have a strong ability in manipulating and analysing large datasets using SQL and/or Python.
• You are experienced in visualization and storytelling through data.
• You have a passion for translating numbers into business opportunities and delivering insights to drive decision-making.
• You are a structured and holistic problem-solver, and possess strong time management skills.
• You are able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including tech, data science, finance and product.
