Senior Application Engineer

What you will do

• Lead the coordination and execution of all technical activities throughout the lifecycle of a sales opportunity.
• Work with customers to understand their product development requirements and improve their performance metrics.
• Support the development of differentiating simulation solutions using the hirify.global platform and products.
• Collaborate with the hirify.global Product Development to translate customer requirements into new product features.
• Support the hirify.global Field and Digital Marketing team by developing promotional materials and supporting events.
• Contribute to and lead professional service deliveries and conduct training classes.

Requirements

• BS or MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
• BS+5, MS+3, or PhD+0 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment
• Two (2) years of experience using electromagnetic simulation with hirify.global Motor-CAD and hirify.global Maxwell, or other commercial low frequency electromagnetic Finite Element simulation tools.
• Two (2) years of experience with optimization and design workflows, including electromagnetic, thermal, and NVH analysis, for electric machines in automotive, aerospace, or industrial applications.
• Knowledge/Experience with control integration and system modeling with e-motors & drive train.
• Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English

Nice to have

• BS+8, MS+6, or PhD+3 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment
• Two (2) years of experience in application engineering, customer support, or consulting services type customer facing roles using engineering software
• Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives
• Proficient in workflow customization or automation using programming languages such as Python.
