TL;DR
Senior Technical Consultant (VMware Cloud Foundation): Leading the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-scale VCF solutions for hybrid cloud environments with an accent on complex architecture, automation, and lifecycle management. Focus on implementing high-performance virtualized infrastructure, troubleshooting multi-site deployments, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients on digital transformation strategies.
Location: Must be based in the United States
Compensation: $160,000 – $190,000 OTE

What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end design, deployment, and configuration of VCF solutions including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria Suite.
- Define business and technical requirements for private and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Design multi-site, workload mobility, and disaster recovery strategies for enterprise clients.
- Integrate VMware platforms with third-party storage, networking, and security solutions.
- Facilitate technical workshops and knowledge transfer sessions for clients.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and contribute to internal practice development.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of technical experience in VMware and supporting technologies.
- Must hold VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 Administrator (2V0-12.25) or Architecture (2V0-13.25) certification.
- Deep expertise in VCF lifecycle management, automation, and workload migration.
- Strong background in software-defined networking, enterprise storage, and security policies.
- Must be able to travel at least 10% for client engagements.
- US-based work authorization required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Elastic VMware Services (EVS) on AWS or Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
- VCAP or equivalent advanced VMware certifications.
