Automation Test Engineer

What you will do

• Design and execute test scenarios, identifying areas for automation to support project work.
• Carry out automation testing using Java and Selenium, processing data for test scenarios using SQL.
• Collaborate with geographically diverse teams (BAs, QAs, and Developers) to deliver solutions effectively.
• Participate in agile methodology, contributing to Kanban board, daily scrums, and retrospective meetings.
• Identify common issues across business groups and help design standardized solutions.
• Proactively identify risks, suggest fixes for defects, and support timely resolution of production issues.

Requirements

• Experience with Automation Testing using Java and Selenium.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
• Strong communication skills to align expectations across Product Managers, developers, and QA collaborators.
• Understanding of BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Proficiency in English language.

Nice to have

• Practical background in building user interfaces for web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
• Familiarity with file-based storage and processing platforms, particularly Azure Databricks.
