Senior Functional Test Engineer – QA and Test Automation

Location: Porto, Portugal — hybrid. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts using Jira Xray.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and report testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders.
• Improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience as a Quality Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency with Jira Xray, Jira, and Confluence.
• Fluent French, spoken and written, at B2 level.
• Fluent English and an existing legal right to work in the European Union.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Certification in testing or automation tools.
