Salary: $248,000 to $279,000

What you will do

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, UX Research, and Marketing to drive your team’s vision and roadmap
• Make sound first-principle decisions around resourcing, and making the rationale clear to partners and team members
• Partner with your org leader on strategic planning and to improve the Engineering organization and uphold our workplace philosophy
• Helping drive product decisions with our goals in mind and holding a high bar for the quality of our features
• Use your technical expertise to move fast, make tradeoffs, and ensure your team delivers with high quality

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, working across the stack (mobile, web, backend)
• 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, leading teams of 5 or more engineers
• Strong product sense and understanding of customer needs
• Experience working in a product team with clear metrics goals
• Motivated to help team members succeed and grow
• Hands-on experience with coding and technical solutions

Nice to have

• Experience with social or messaging consumer products
• Experience with React Native
