What you will do

• Own the mobile app end-to-end, delivering world-class streaming across discovery, playback, and engagement.
• Drive seamless playback with fast startup, adaptive streaming, and resilient offline capabilities.
• Build intuitive discovery, search, recommendations, and personalized experiences.
• Architect scalable React Native (Expo + TypeScript) systems for performance across devices and networks.
• Optimize Expo workflows, OTA updates, CI/CD, and rapid feature shipping like downloads and notifications.
• Define metrics, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and improve team tooling.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• 10–15+ years software engineering, 5–8+ years mobile apps, 4+ years React Native in production.
• Deep React Native and TypeScript expertise for scaling consumer apps.
• Strong mobile architecture, performance focus, and modern tooling (Expo, CI/CD).
• Hands-on leadership with code, mentorship, and cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with streaming/media, AB testing, metrics-driven decisions.
