What you will do

• Play a key role in the end-to-end design and evolution of the hirify.global app, encompassing the full spectrum of product design.
• Conduct usability studies and user interviews to inform design work.
• Make design decisions that improve our app experience, reduce churn, and increase engagement by combining qualitative and quantitative customer insights.
• Build, document, and organize the UI components of our design library and system to drive consistency across our app and the rest of the brand.
• Present design updates to C-suite leadership for feedback and approval.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to ship world class products and features.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in UX and UI, with a strong portfolio including live mobile examples.
• Shipped designs to public users and have data that proves either success or failure.
• Consider the technical implications of design decisions and have the ability to find the right balance between new user value and technical effort.
• Experience coaching junior designers and collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Obsessed with simplicity, have a high-quality bar for the aesthetics in your design.
• Open to occasional travel to other office locations (San Francisco, Milan) to work with other teams in-person.

Nice to have

• Having built iconic, consumer-facing mobile apps at small and mid-size tech startups (with the data & reviews to prove it).
• Experience designing mobile apps for Android.
